PROFESSIONAL AND ACADEMIC WORK

With a background in journalism, I specialize in writing and editing informative and engaging content about economic trends, reporting on current events, as well as crafting inspiring stories about people who make a difference in everyday life. On this page, you will also find some of my recent academic projects developed during my master’s degree program. You will find crisis communication plans, newsletters, communication campaigns, and audio production pieces.

TV Talk Show: “Common Objective”

The talk show “Common Objective” is a daily TV program broadcast by TVR Moldova TV Channel in both Moldova and Romania. My role as a host and producer involved different tasks from researching to guest outreach, content creation, and live interviewing. I was one of the three moderators of the program, and I covered economic topics, such as green energy, public transportation, and the banking sector. The main goal was to educate the public about national and international economic trends, in a way that would ensure translation of complex topics for a large audience.

Audio Interview: From Mumbai to Indiana”

This audio interview was conducted during one of my master’s degree program courses, COM 561, Professional Multimedia Content Creation. The assignment required showcasing my skills in audio storytelling and proficiency in Adobe Audition.

Digital Content Creation: “Building a Career in Government”

This academic project was developed by me for the COMSTRAT 701 class during the summer 2025 semester, under the instruction of Michelle Galey. My goal was to narrate my internship experience with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, using digital communication tools.

Crisis Communication Plan

This project was developed for the course COM 562, Crisis Communication in Global Context, in the spring 2024 semester, instructed by Erin Tomson. My role was to design a comprehensive communication plan for the Town of Surfside, Florida, which is at a high risk of natural disasters. The purpose of this project was to provide a blueprint for public communication efforts during emergencies.

Public Information Campaign

I developed the “Play and Ride” campaign for the COMSTRAT 701 course, instructed by Michelle Galey. This project aimed to reinvigorate the use of public transportation among one of the most active pre-pandemic passengers: youth. As the author, I was tasked with creating a comprehensive campaign for the King County Metro agency, incorporating core elements of public relations and digital marketing. The project’s execution timeline consisted of one week of planning, research, and document delivery.
